Interesting group of Charles Dickens themed shops selling everything from garden gnomes to vinyl. Good ambiance with the Waterloo and waking routes; the car park is very full considering how many people are actually in the centre.
This often has rave reviews, but I can't see the appeal. It's mostly a series of second hand stalls selling tat. A couple of nice shops as you walk in. A fairly expensive cafe with a basic menu. Doubt I will visit again.
Good selection of shops, and vintage items. The Sunday roast was reasonable. Good afternoon out. There is a good crafts shop for children which is great for young creative minds.
Amazing experience!!! Our son enjoyed the whole experience and so do we!! The right place to meet a real Santa!! Very funny, the Elves, Rudolph, everything was perfect and great location too. Thank you very much to the olde watermill for the Magic Christmas experience!
This is a little treasure trove found just off the A6 near Barton - Le - Clay. It's a network of small independent shops in the grounds of an old and very beautiful watermill. Great for mooching around. Everything from a barbers to a bridal shop. Great cafe that serves good food and hot drinks - ideal on a day like today. The Christmas Village has also just opened, and has some really cool gifts reasonably priced. At the time I visited, the were preparing Santa's Groto. Well worth a visit. A great afternoon out.
