Replying to Debbies review, as a fitting company who contracts gas safe engineers what your being told by Barton supplies is correct. We can't and won't install a gas fire from one property to another. We are how ever happy to install a new gas fire for yourself avalibility is good and distance isn't a problem.
Do not buy a fire from this company my uncle bought a fire which cost him over 1000 he only had it a few months when he moved down with me. He got it disconnected from the shop. I have asked them to come and reinstall and have been told they will not refit a fire that has been fitted before. I have never heard such utter rubbish when I spoke to the fitter he said it was too far for him to come and that he had enough work.
Shoddy installation in new house. Hearth not correctly cut to size (too small). So gap appears in the two sections after a while of use.
Had glass and door seals replaced Frindly and very polite people. Good workmanship.. alwayss going to be barton stoves. Recommend
